Police Beach

Last fact-checked: September 2026

Police Beach is a small beach just west of Koh Touch village, only about 500 meters from where the ferries arrive. By day it is a quiet place for a swim; at night it is known as the party beach of Koh Rong.

Getting there

Walk west from Koh Touch pier along the path; it takes about 10-15 minutes. The path is dark and uneven at night, so bring a torch and wear proper shoes.

By day

The water is usually calm and the beach much quieter than the busy village beach in Koh Touch, which makes it a good place for a swim close to the pier.

At night

Police Beach is known for late-night parties with DJs, which often only get going around midnight. Parties are most frequent in the high season (roughly November to April), but the schedule changes, so check the current events in Koh Touch or on the organizers' social media before you go. On dark nights without a party, it is also an easy place near the village to see glowing plankton.

Party safety

  • Go with friends and agree how you will get back.
  • Do not swim after drinking, especially at night.
  • Watch your drinks and valuables, as at any party.
  • Bring cash: there are practically no ATMs on the island.
